About HoustonGG

HoustonGG is Marc Houston’s creator website. The gaming-audio buying guide is a sponsored collaboration with Soundbrenner, clearly identified on the guide. Purchases happen on Soundbrenner’s website.

Browsing this site

You can browse without creating an account or submitting a form. This site does not run a Meta pixel or save campaign information in cookies or browser storage.

The gaming-audio guide has an optional first-party layout test. When the site owner enables it, a cookie keeps the same layout for 30 days. The guide records one page view and one Wave Pro 2 purchase-link click per browser in that period. The event record contains only the layout and event type, without a URL, IP address, or visitor ID. The test does not record purchases. When the test is disabled, no layout or event cookies are set by this feature and no events are recorded.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Hosting providers process technical information, such as IP addresses and request details, to deliver and protect websites. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing.

Campaign labels in links

If you arrive from an advertisement, its UTM campaign labels can stay in the address as you navigate this site. When you follow a Wave Pro 2 purchase link, those labels are passed to Soundbrenner so the destination can identify the campaign. Visits without campaign labels use a HoustonGG referral label instead.

This site forwards only the five standard UTM labels: source, medium, campaign, content and term. It does not forward other incoming parameters, including Meta click IDs, through this feature. Please do not put personal information in campaign labels.

Other websites and purchases

Links to YouTube, Instagram, Marc’s portfolio and product manufacturers take you to other services, which have their own privacy practices. Fonts, photos and video thumbnails are served locally; videos play on YouTube when you choose to open them.

Soundbrenner handles product options, checkout, payment, fulfilment and purchase information. Read Soundbrenner’s privacy policy before buying.
